Mindful Spending: Aligning Your Money with Your Values

What is mindful spending and why is it worth considering? Essentially, mindful spending is recognizing and digging into the “why” of your spending habits. The first step to this is building self-awareness and understanding the motivation behind how you are spending your money. Mindful spending can bring a sense of control in times of uncertainty. It will also aid in building a healthier relationship with money and how you spend it.  

Below are some steps and suggestions to help you begin your journey into mindful spending:  

Engaging in any of the above strategies can help improve your relationship with spending money and finances in general. By living your values and aligning spending habits to reflect these values, you can increase your emotional fulfillment of spending as well.
