Earlier this week, Cornerstone’s Portsmouth team joined a group of New Hampshire-based B Corporations to clean up the beach in Hampton, NH.
The event was hosted by Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation, and we were happy to work alongside representatives from companies including Good Start Packaging, Milestone Financial Planning, Placework, Richardson Media Group, Veris Wealth Partners, MegaFood, and Prime Buchholz.
After we finished the cleanup, our hosts at Blue Ocean Society recorded the amount of litter we removed in an effort to contribute to their long-term study of marine pollution and to understand the event’s impact. Together, we collected over 50lbs of trash!
Part of being a B Corporation is demonstrating a commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable planet for all, and prioritizing people and the planet before profit. This is a mission we truly believe in, and community service days like this are a great way for us to keep fulfilling that mission.
