Cornerstone Principal, Mackenzie Parsons, is one of 24 local professionals who has been selected to participate in the 2024 Leadership Portland program. The Leadership program is not new to Cornerstone; Christina was a graduate of Leadership Seacoast program in 2020.
Leadership Portland is a comprehensive, six-month program that convenes a cohort of curious, engaged leaders and educates them on the complexities of the community’s pressing issues to inspire participants to tap their civic passion and make a difference in the future of our city.
When Mackenzie was asked why she chose to apply she said: “I wanted to go through the process to learn more about Portland, its inner workings, and the current issues impacting our city. I hope to become a more informed resident and graduate from the program with actionable ways to make Portland a better city for all.”
