Baby Millie is here!
Cornerstone is thrilled to share that over the summer Principal Mackenzie and her husband Brendan welcomed their baby girl, Millicent (Millie) Joan Jean Parsons, into the world!
Millie was born on July 7th, arriving at 5 pounds 11oz, 17.9 inches.
Mackenzie will be returning from paternal leave on November 4th, and is looking forward to reconnecting with the team and her clients then.
Cornerstone's 2024 Volunteer Day
On September 12th, the Cornerstone team stepped away from our spreadsheets and numbers and spent the morning outside the office.
This respite from the office was all in the name of service as the team spent the morning working with the excellent Habitat for Humanity team at their ReStore location in Kennebunk, ME. We were tasked with assisting their full-time members in preparing to open the store for the day.
We got our hands dirty and used some elbow grease to make sure the donated items were attractive and that the retail space was ready for the perusing buyers who lined up outside the door for the opening at noon. It was all worth the effort to help those in need have access to affordable and safe housing.
